- I'm Brooke, and I'm putting out a call for assistance with this recurring commitment.
- We are looking for a reliable person once a month to batch-cook and freeze six large, ready-to-bake casseroles (vegetarian and chicken).
- The scope is high-volume cooking and proper portioning for freezing.
- Requires familiarity with freezing techniques to avoid freezer burn.
- The commitment is 6 hours on the second Friday of the month.
- For timing, the kitchen is only free between 1 pm and 5 pm, so you must start and finish in that window.
- About the kitchen space, please be aware that the oven is a tricky older model and takes longer to heat.
- For the finished meals, we will provide the labels; please ensure they are placed clearly on the top of the container.
- Important. You must speak and understand English well to follow safety directions and complex recipes.
- New immigrants to Vancouver are highly encouraged to send their application.
- We will arrange payment so that payment will be given to you in cash right after you finish the service.
- Just a note, it's okay if English is not your first language; basic communication is enough, don't worry about being perfect.
