I'm an experienced user of this platform, but my previous helper moved away from Toronto, so I'm looking for someone new to take on a project that involves clearing out my basement after a big spring cleaning session.
This task needs someone to sort through about 15-20 boxes of old clothes and household items, deciding what's trash and what's donation, and then driving the donations to two separate charity drop-off locations within the city.
You'd be responsible for all the lifting and loading, so please be physically able to handle that!
Since I'm a bit overwhelmed with volume, I really need someone to commit to a 4-hour slot sometime this week, maybe Wednesday or Thursday afternoon, because I want this stuff gone before the weekend.
I live in a house in the suburbs, so there's driveway parking which is easy, unlike the chaos of downtown Toronto.
I need someone who speaks very good English because I'll be going through the boxes with you at first to explain what goes where.
We can negotiate the price based on how quickly you can get this done.
People who have a vehicle will be given preference since this involves driving a lot of boxes, and you must be legally allowed to work in Canada for this task.
Allow extra time for parking at the charity drop-off spots, this is Toronto we're talking about!
Sort through 15-20 boxes into 'Donate' and 'Trash' piles.
Load the 'Donate' boxes into your vehicle.
Drive to and drop off items at two pre-selected charity locations.
Take the 'Trash' boxes to the curb on garbage day (Friday).
I mainly use this platform for messaging, so please keep all communication here.
Can't wait to hear from you!
