Office Supplies and Lunch Run for Our Formal Company Project
Message From The Owner
- We are an established company running a short-term consulting project near Parliament Hill in Ottawa.
- We really need a dedicated Tasker to handle our daily office supply and lunch procurement for the next two weeks while our executive assistant is on vacation.
- This task is formal and requires a professional who can handle purchasing with corporate credit cards and provide very accurate expense reconciliation at the end of each day.
- We need this support Monday to Friday, generally from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM.
- The scope of work changes slightly day-to-day, but it usually involves:
- Picking up specific office supplies (printer ink, legal pads, highlighters) from a nearby Staples or small independent store.
- Collecting lunch orders from 2-3 different downtown restaurants, usually pre-ordered but sometimes needing a quick in-person pickup.
- Occasionally running documents to a courier service or post office.
- Ensuring everything is delivered discreetly to our secured conference room in the high-rise building (you’ll be given temporary building access).
- I mainly use this platform for messaging so that’s the best way to reach me, but please be aware that parking downtown is a nightmare, especially near all the government buildings, so give yourself extra time – welcome to Ottawa!
- We prefer candidates with their own transportation because sometimes the lunch spots are a bit spread out.
- You must be legally allowed to work in Canada for this task.
- Our budget is flexible depending on your experience and how many hours you can commit to.
