Receiving and Organizing Shipment at Our Burnaby Warehouse
Message From The Owner
  • As a large Company with multiple projects, we’ve been dealing with a massive inflow of materials at our main Burnaby warehouse near Gilmore, and we're looking for an experienced helper to manage receiving and organizing a very large shipment arriving next week.

  • We’ve already had two people quit this month because of the sheer volume, so we need someone who understands logistics and can handle physical work.

  • We need someone for three full days, next Monday through Wednesday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, to help us get caught up.

  • Your tasks would include: physically unloading items from a semi-truck (you’ll have a palette jack and some team support), checking the packing slip against the delivered inventory (attention to detail is key), sorting items into marked bins, and then updating a simple Excel inventory sheet.

  • Because our inventory is sensitive, we must be able to communicate well in English to ensure the right items are scanned and placed in the correct location.

  • You must be legally allowed to work in Canada for this task because of the sensitive nature of the inventory, and we prefer candidates with their own transportation to and from the warehouse since the area isn't the best for transit, and parking is tough here – give yourself extra time – welcome to Burnaby!

  • We can negotiate the price based on your prior warehousing experience and ability to commit to all three days.

  • Best way to reach me is through CityTasker platform. You’d be a lifesaver; we really need the help, thank you!
