I'm looking for a kind and reliable person to do recurring shopping and errands for my elderly mother who lives in a mid-rise apartment building in the North York area of Toronto.
-
She needs help once a week, every Tuesday morning around 10:00 AM, with a list that includes prescription pickups from the pharmacy and a small grocery run from her preferred store.
-
This job is recurring, so I need someone who can commit to the schedule.
-
The building is easily accessible, and you don't need a car for this task as everything is within a short walking distance from her home, but I prefer to pay in cash upon completion of the task.
-
We've had a few issues with other helpers getting lost because the Toronto street signs can be hard to read in some older neighbourhoods, so good navigation skills are a bonus!
-
Pick up prescriptions from the Rexall Pharmacy.
-
Purchase a small list of groceries (mostly produce and dairy) from Metro.
-
Deliver the items directly to her apartment door (easy elevator access).
-
Briefly check on her well-being (5 minutes maximum).
-
Please include a CV when contacting me so I can share it with my siblings for approval, and I can send photos after everything else is agreed on, including her specific grocery list and the store locations.
-
Ideally you'd be within 30 minutes of the location.
-
You can contact me on this website about this opportunity.
