We're a small food business in Toronto that sells at a few farmers' markets on the weekend, and we've recently started offering a local delivery service to customers who live in the area around the market.
We are looking for a reliable person to handle 5-6 small delivery runs this Saturday afternoon, typically between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM, once the market closes.
The items are small boxes of baked goods, not heavy at all.
This is a great chance for someone looking for extra work this week/month.
We need you to have a car or reliable bike because the delivery area covers about a 5km radius, but no vehicle is needed if you use a cargo bike, which is honestly easier for navigating the busy weekend streets in our area of Toronto.
New immigrants to Toronto are welcome to apply; you don't need fluent English for this, but please be able to follow simple delivery instructions.
We prefer to pay in cash.
Pick up 5-6 sealed delivery boxes from our market stall.
Follow the pre-planned route for local drop-offs (addresses provided).
Confirm delivery via a simple text message to us after each drop-off.
Return the empty delivery bag/cooler back to the market stall manager.
