Message From The Owner
- We're a small, but rapidly growing, construction and landscaping supply company in the South end of Ottawa, and we need a reliable person to act as our site receiver for an important bulk shipment of specialized materials that's arriving next week.
- We are looking for someone to be on-site at our small warehouse between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM next Tuesday to accept the delivery, check the packing slip against the materials that arrive, and coordinate with the trucking company driver to ensure everything is safely unloaded and accounted for.
- This is a one-time job, but we're looking for someone who could be an occasional recurrence as our business keeps expanding.
- This task is perfect for new immigrants in Ottawa who are looking for flexible, paid work, as strong English is not required for this task; basic communication will be enough for the paperwork part.
- You don't need a car for this task as the warehouse is right on a major bus route, and you'll be staying on site the whole time.
- We prefer to pay in cash right at the end of the shift.
